Thomas is a professional software engineer and a lifelong hacker. He is also a hacktivist, which he defines as someone who uses technology to address social issues. Using the new medium of podcasting with his twice weekly show, The Command Line, he discusses the rough edges where society, public policy and computers meet. Thomas is also a second generation fan of speculative fiction and has lent skills learned in producing The Command Line to a growing list of audio productions.
